These Alpine Cuisine Cookware versatile pots are great for cooking and storage. The hinged handle flips over the fitted lid to lock it in place. Lids also have top handle tabs. I bought a kitchen item a month or two ago now and have waited this long to review, because the typical reviewer generally considers an item once the package, if it all bright. First and foremost I just want to say that I’m a fan of MSR Alpine Cuisine Cookware products. I own a pocket rocket stove and fuel, and this is the pot (I like both). After using it a lot more than a lot of different heat sources at different temperatures and different contents inside under cooked, I decided, as a personal chef to the kit. I’ll start with the hardware.

This Alpine Cuisine Cookware is a self-supporting drum lid off a long and strong enough to handle that. The stainless steel seems to be scrubbed off the charring of the first three or four times over an open fire. I’ve used it last night and is likely to trip up a total of two hours of use over the open flame, one way (from melting snow and cooking). I cooked corn beef hash, rice, ramen noodles and melted snow water. Subsequently, the heavy use, the bottom of the pot is a nice flat black look to it. I’m sure it comes down to if you really had the time, but prefere to keep the interior clean and not worry so much on the outside.

The handle has preserved a strong feeling of moving hardware and still as strong as the pack (well, it’s stainless). Since the entire building, I accept that my 160 pounds would be able to sit in the pot is not much harm in it, of course, would not do that if I were you. One thing nice about it, I isopro MSR 4oz fuel tank will fit in it, and so does the MSR Pocket Rocket stove (but separately, not simultaneously). Overall, a good place for those who want to use a kitchen (AMD reliable) parts.

This Alpine Cuisine Cookware is a 1-liter pot. While a well-built, I was very surprised that MSR design choice loose lid. There is no way to ensure that the lid can not fall off using the kettle decided. You must use the ‘ol one-digit salute to the pouring to make sure this does not happen. Also, you should insulate your fingers, if the kettle has a boil, otherwise it will burn the beegeebees the hands of non-insulated handles .

We’ve had Alpine MSR stainless cookware set, a teapot and it fits nicely in it to. The lid of the pot stays in place when pouring beautiful. And the teapot spout is really not drip. The shape of the pot to maximize the amount of water it can hold – that a lot, and the stainless steel seems to heat faster than the titanium pots. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Whether cooking in a group is a high-altitude base camp, a small grub or a buzzing horde of hungry backpackers, the MSR Alpine Cuisine Cookware Stainless Steel Pot Cooks 4 provides what you need to cook large meals for large groups. There are three different dishes each have their own cover, which also doubles the disk, when an unexpected guest appears. The pot gripper makes it easy to work fast transfer of pots and the stove.

It’s a nice pot. This is great for large groups and are very reliable. After over a stove to help you make things much faster. You can use them to cook something. The Grabber pot is actually quite stable, as I used to manage the pot filled with hot water, and there was no problem. The biggest drawback is the added weight of stainless steel. I have not heard good things about heating hot aluminum and titanium is too expensive. This is the best of both worlds.

This Alpine Cuisine Cookware is strong, reliable stainless steel fry pan stands up to heavy use and extreme conditions. Nests over Alpine 3L Pot and handle folds up for compact packin. This is by far the best I have seen fry pan is available for outdoor cooking. I love going outside shops and in particular to look at the container selected for hiking, backpacking and camping.

Together with my wife, children, and a number of my brother-in-law, we have accumulated a pretty good plate of various types of cooking supplies, MSR, and, in my opinion the best all-around selection. I found success purchasing individual components and compiling their own “mess kit” instead of buying pre-assembled kit. Together, the MSR Stowaway pots, Alpine series stainless steel cookware is great. I have been in the pan for a few years ago and now bought two of my family.

Together, eggs and cooking the meat, I used this pan several times to Bannock, the camp bread, like fire, and it turns out great. The pan about 8 “in diameter, and enough bread for 4-5 people to a meal. 2 cups of flour and other ingredients to bake a loaf of bread to fit in very nicely in the pan. The arm is detachable and can fit nicely on the plate of the other pots. Once in place, it is difficult to tell if the handle is not part of the pan itself – it’s very stable.

A special advantage of such a pan, over the aluminum frame that dissipates more heat over the area, but the flame is exposed to only one area of ​​the steel. There is oil drain spout. I appreciate the durability of stainless steel over a lighter weight and smaller vessels. I would not consider another pan – even if it saved space and weight. A nice clean pan using a SOS pad. If this is a really nasty fire to some elbow grease, but it should be cleaned up to bright again. I snap this up one at a time when serious cooking over a fire.

I love these things! They are very compact and weighs almost nothing. The locking mechanism works perfectly. The dish is not straining to catch, unfortunately, but I could not find that this is the problem. I would be curious as to how much abuse in the bend of the thin material can take before they break, but not yet. The sewer lines within the test, which can come in handy!
